Impressive Design

The vivo V50 Lite 5G makes an immediate impression with its sleek profile, featuring an ultra-slim 7.79mm frame. The flat display and flat edges give it an ergonomic and comfortable grip, making it easy to hold and use.

At the heart of its visual experience is a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with FHD resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With peak brightness reaching 1,800 nits, the display is vibrant, sharp, and easily visible even under bright lighting.

Our review unit is in Titanium Gold and features a frosted back panel that effectively resists fingerprints. Durability is also a major highlight, with an IP65 dust and water resistance rating and MIL-STD-810H drop protection.

Despite its slim form factor, the V50 Lite houses a massive 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery — the largest yet in vivo’s V-series lineup.

vivo rates the battery to deliver up to 27.4 hours of YouTube streaming or 10.5 hours of continuous gaming. It is built to last, retaining over 80% capacity even after five years of regular use.

Charging is equally impressive, with 90W FlashCharge technology ensuring a full charge in under 55 minutes. A quick 25-minute top-up provides 50% battery, backed by multiple safety protocols for voltage, current, and temperature protection.

Cameras

The V50 Lite’s cameras are housed in a pill-shaped island, putting focus on its capable imaging setup. It boasts a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor paired with an 8MP 180-degree wide-angle camera, while a 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

As with previous V-series models, photos look impressive, especially in bright lighting conditions. While they don’t quite match flagship cameras, they hold their own within their class.

The images have good detail and colors. However, low-light and night mode shots deliver average quality. On the other hand, portraits are pleasing, with good background separation and smooth bokeh.

Performance and Hardware

The V50 Lite is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, which is more than enough for daily use.

When it comes to performance, the Dimensity 6300 handles everyday tasks efficiently, including multitasking and gaming. It is further enhanced by Funtouch OS 15 (based on Android 15) and AI-powered functionalities, which means a smooth user experience.

Benchmark scores also highlight the handset’s capabilities. On AnTuTu, it scored 439,874, while Geekbench 6 recorded 592 in the Single-Core Test and 1,637 in the Multi-Core Test. In 3DMark Wildlife, the phone achieved a score of 1,357.
