Molho para Asinha de Frango: The Sauce That Steals the Show

Let's be honest: asinha de frango (chicken wings) is already pretty great on its own. Crispy skin, juicy meat, that satisfying little handle you get to hold while you eat it. But you know what turns a good wing into a "please hide the last one for me" wing? A great molho para asinha de frango. Today we're diving into two sauce situations that will make your wings the star of the party — or the star of your couch, no judgment here. Grab your apron, your appetite, and maybe a bib, because things are about to get saucy.

Molho De Mostarda Para Frango

Mustard and honey: the power couple you didn't know your wings were missing. This molho de mostarda para frango is tangy, sweet, creamy, and just a little bit fancy — the kind of sauce that makes people ask if you went to culinary school. You can say yes. Or don't. But definitely make this one.

4 tablespoons of yellow or Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 clove of garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper to taste
A pinch of paprika for a little smoky magic

In a medium bowl, whisk together the mustard, honey, and mayonnaise until smooth and dreamy.
Add the lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil, whisking until fully combined.
Stir in the minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Taste it. Then taste it again, because quality control matters. Adjust the honey or mustard to your liking.
Let it rest in the fridge for at least 20 minutes so the flavors can get to know each other.
Brush it generously over wings during the last few minutes of grilling, roasting, or baking — or just serve it on the side for dipping.

Como fazer asinha de frango na chapa com um molho especial e delicioso

Asinha de frango na chapa with a special sauce ready to serve

Now let's talk about the chapa — the griddle — because there's something about a hot surface that gives wings that irresistible crust. This special molho for griddle wings is bold, garlicky, and a little bit buttery, which is the universal language of deliciousness. It works as both a marinade and a finishing sauce, which is basically a two-for-one deal your wallet and taste buds will appreciate.

3 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, finely minced
1 tablespoon of hot sauce (or more, we don't judge)
1 tablespoon of honey or brown sugar
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
Juice of half a lime
Fresh chopped parsley to finish
Salt and black pepper to taste

In a bowl, combine the melted butter, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, hot sauce, honey, paprika, oregano, and lime juice.
Whisk it all together until it looks gloriously glossy.
Season your wings with salt and black pepper, then pour half of the sauce over them and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat your chapa or a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until it's nice and hot.
Place the wings on the griddle and cook, turning occasionally, for about 20 to 25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
During the last few minutes, brush the remaining sauce over the wings and let it caramelize slightly.
Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately — preferably with napkins within arm's reach.

There you have it: two molhos that will make your asinha de frango unforgettable. Whether you're team mustard-honey or team buttery-garlic, one thing is certain — your wings will never be plain again.
