With just a handful of everyday ingredients and a short cooking time, you can serve perfectly cooked chicken that the whole family will love.

This recipe produces chicken with a rich, savory flavor and a delightfully crisp skin. The seasoning blend is simple yet effective, enhancing the natural taste of the meat. Serving the chicken straight from the air fryer ensures that every bite stays crunchy and warm. Pair it with a fresh salad, roasted vegetables, or your favorite dipping sauce for a complete and balanced meal.

1 whole chicken, cut into pieces (or 4 chicken thighs and 4 drumsticks)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: lemon wedges for serving

Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which helps achieve a crispier result.
In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the olive oil over the chicken pieces, then coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap. Work in batches if necessary.
Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping the pieces halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden and crisp.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving with lemon wedges if desired.

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or 6 chicken thighs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
2 garlic cloves, minced
Juice of half a lemon
Salt and black pepper to taste

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, oregano, cumin, chili flakes, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Coat the chicken pieces thoroughly with the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes for better flavor.
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
Place the chicken in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between the pieces for even air circulation.
Cook for 18 to 22 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned.
Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) before removing the chicken from the basket.
Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes, then serve with your favorite sides.
